Healing is messy.

I fucking showed up anyway.

Sorry cancer, you picked the wrong Day!

Before you dive in,

a quick heads-up…

This blog is real, raw, emotional, messy, sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking, and definitely not sugar-coated!

There will be:
• Profanity (my favorite coping mechanism)
• Medical details (because knowledge is power, and cancer is confusing as hell)
• Scars, expanders, implants, FOOBS, Barbie boobs, cinnamon roll nipples, and all the wild science behind them
• Dark humor
• Grief
• Joy
• And the truth — even when it’s uncomfortable

If you’re here for pastel, inspirational, gentle,

“Everything happens for a reason,” cancer stories…

Well then bless your heart, but this isn’t that blog.

BUT —

If you’re here for honesty, survival, community, laughter in the wrong places, crying in the right ones, and a woman fighting like hell one badass day at a time…

Welcome.
You’re in the right place.

Whether you’re:

My own 20-year-old who is exhausted by my drama,

One of my family, friends, or coworkers who love me enough to shave their heads with me (seriously — you’re the real MVPs),

My 78-year-old carnival aunt who has seen some things, or my longtime friend who is crazy enough to call herself my sister,

Someone walking through cancer yourself,

Or someone who loves a fighter and supports a warrior —

This space is yours, too.

If your feelings bruise like overripe fruit, better grab some emotional bubble wrap. I’m fighting for my life, not trying to win Miss Congeniality, and I’m damn sure not watering anything down. And if that level of truth makes you squirm… bless your heart, sugar.

Enter with humor.
Proceed with courage.

You don’t have to read this in order — but if you’re wondering where to start, I’ve got you.

And if you’re walking this one day at a time with me, Tiny Tina | Status: Alive

is where I show up — exactly as I am.

Wherever you land, you’re welcome here.
